About Content Brew
Outcomes
We created the complete product suite (both website & app) within 4 weeks with a comprehensive product vision document. This document outlined their vision and how we translated the initial concept into actionable modules & user flows.
We also delivered complete visual branding, a seamless onboarding experience & a dashboard system optimized for quick development & launch.
From Idea to Vision
Content Brew’s founders came to us with a simple “napkin idea”. They understood how podcasters struggled with post-production content creation, but had no clear picture of what their solution would actually look like.
We stepped in early to help shape the entire experience from scratch, mapping out key elements like:
What would be the key modules?
How would users move through each module?
What would the user flows look like?
What would the information architecture look like for each section?
We also created a detailed document outlining how exactly their “napkin idea” would translate into a real product – helping them pitch to developers & investors more confidently.

Building the Product Foundation
With the vision clarified, we moved into structuring the actual product foundation. We undertook this across a few major steps:
System Design
With the concept in place, we jumped straight into system design, while also mapping the ideal user journey, which looked like this:
User uploads an episode → AI processes it → Generate content assets across formats
By zooming into details like:
How would users regenerate output?
Where would the action buttons sit?
How do we account for failure mid-process?

We clearly defined the user flows and possible ‘edge cases’ for each module, with a detailed information architecture guiding design & development.
The client was involved throughout this process, and their feedback was accounted for, accordingly.
Defining User Types
In addition to system design, we also had to define the various ‘user types’. Some podcasters publish daily, whereas others do so weekly or monthly.
The architecture needed to handle varying content volumes & usage patterns.
By thinking through the complete system upfront, we avoided unnecessary redesign cycles that impact most product launches.
Creating Visual Identity
Once the product structure was locked, we moved into visual design – creating several mood boards to understand the direction Content Brew wanted to take their brand.
Post review, the client opted for a more fun & vibrant visual experience; something that was inline with their target audience. Through close collaboration with the founders, we were able to create a visual system that worked across both the marketing website & the application interface.
We opted for color palettes and typography that felt professional enough, but also had energetic undertones.
Thinking through everything early on saved us a lot of time later, helping us avoid unnecessary backtracking & reworks.

Designing the Onboarding Experience
We treated onboarding like a product in itself. If users didn’t get to value fast, they’d churn. So we removed all distractions and designed a focused first-time flow.
Podcasters were guided to upload their first episode, and instantly shown what Content Brew could do—transcripts, show notes, social posts, and more. Preview states & progress indicators further helped users understand what was happening.
We also added lightweight educational cues to ensure a frictionless experience – a decision that paid off immediately.

Building the Episode Dashboard
Most users spend the bulk of their time on the dashboard, so we treated it like the ‘home base’. The idea was to make it intuitive enough for first-time users, but also robust enough for power users.
We prioritized recent activity front & centre, while adding filters for easy access to older content. In addition to this, we also added bulk actions for power users, helping streamline recurring tasks.
Progressive layering reduced cognitive load, making the interface feel lighter & more manageable even as episode libraries grew.

Smart Content Generation
Content Brew’s AI generated powerful content, but we knew that output alone wasn’t enough.
So we built a layout where every content type had its own section with clean formatting. If something felt off, users could regenerate content instantly. Quick copy buttons and previews were added to make publishing smooth and stress-free.
We even added small, but critical touches like character counts and tips for different platforms, helping users craft content that actually fits where it’s going.

Adding User Delight
Customer delight is key, especially if you’re building SaaS for the creative industry.
With Content Brew, we went beyond the core features & added thoughtful, human touches which made the experience feel more personalized.
Loading states had a more vibrant, cheerful language; while the ‘success’ messages gave users small wins to celebrate. In addition, the ‘error’ messages offered solutions, while empty screens gave users direction, not dead ends.
We also included subtle animations & transitions that made the interface feel more responsive & polished.
Even the microcopy & button texts reflected the brand personality, with conversational language that felt more lightweight & friendly.
Project Delivery & Handoff
Thanks to a clear vision & consistent communication, we wrapped up the project in just 4 weeks. Our team delivered both the marketing website & the complete application design, which helped them move to development faster.
There were no extra rounds of feedback or revisions, with each decision being evaluated against the goal of getting Content Brew to market quickly.
Conclusion
Our product design approach helped Content Brew get to market quickly, with new users signing up to the platform immediately post-launch.
They didn’t need to go back or redesign core flows, since it had already been thought through from the beginning.
