Initial Discovery & Assessment

When Kearney’s internal team reached out to us, we knew this wasn’t going to be a typical project. We started off with 2 discovery calls to understand their current state and potential challenges they were facing.
We also visited their office & met key stakeholders, discussing strategies & goals they wanted to achieve with their internal processes & workflows.
Their internal tools were slowing their workforce down, and they needed a design partner who could do more than “make things look good”.
Through the discovery calls, we saw how much effort users had to put in just to complete everyday tasks.
That’s where the real friction was & that’s exactly where our redesign process needed to start.
Understanding Enterprise Pain Points

Once we started unpacking the product, the issues revealed themselves quickly. The UI patterns hadn’t kept pace with modern standards. Navigation felt disjointed. Their content placement, too, lacked consistency – while user flows were also long & unintuitive.
The real problem? It wasn’t just a design issue, but one related to productivity.
We mapped those pain points directly to business impact, knowing the fix needed to go beyond just visuals.
