Product Design

Product design for software that outgrew its own structure

Trusted by SF’s top AI & SaaS companies

What usually brings teams here

Teams never arrive with a design brief. They arrive with a metric that moved the wrong way and a suspicion about why. Same six versions, every week.

Get a free audit
  1. The product demos better than it onboards.

Sales closes on a story the first session never delivers.

  2. Every release makes the last one harder to find.

Navigation grew feature by feature and never once by design.

  3. Enterprise buyers judge the UI before the roadmap.

A prototype grade interface reads as a prototype grade company.

  4. Support answers the same question all week.

Nobody gets through setup alone, so headcount tracks signups.

  5. The dashboard shows everything except the answer.

Metrics with no decision attached get opened once.

  6. Design decisions get re-argued every sprint.

No system underneath, so the build ships inconsistent.

What product design actually includes

User research & interviews

We talk to the people using the product and the people who stopped. Interviews, session recordings, your support tickets and whatever analytics you already have. We’re looking for where people stall, not for what they say they want.

Typical outputs:

  1. User interviews
  2. Session recording review
  3. Support and churn analysis
  4. Where users stall, ranked

Some of our work

How we work with your team

(01)

The audit is free, and first

Every engagement opens with an audit at no cost. We find the real problem before anyone opens Figma.

(02)

One embedded team

A senior designer joins your Slack and your sprint rhythm. There is no account manager relaying notes between us.

(03)

We ship in weeks, not quarters

Work moves in two week cycles, and something is reviewable at the end of every one. You are never waiting on a big reveal.

(04)

Feedback in 24 to 48 hours

The one commitment that decides whether this lands on time. We make it, and we ask you to make it too.

Why Bricx

Most agencies hand you a Figma file and leave. We get judged on what happens after. Whether the leads get better, whether buyers stop hesitating, whether the round closes. We build too, so nothing dies in handoff.

01

Taste is the product

AI does the UX thinking now. Layouts, flows, first drafts. What it can’t do is the last ten percent.

02

We know life after Figma

Components, states, edge cases and frontend reality, because we ship the build as well.

03

One team, audit to handoff

The people in your kickoff are the people doing the work. Nothing gets passed down a chain.

04

Systems, not screens

You keep a system your team can extend, so the next page doesn’t restart an argument you already settled.

Product design goes on a monthly retainer, and we’ll push back if you ask for fixed scope. Products iterate, and a fixed price engagement caps your revisions in exactly the phase where revisions are the point. Websites are the opposite.

Retainers start at $10,000 per month. No lock-in, no contract, and fifteen days notice. A second workstream is priced on scope.

Yes. We run a paid pilot, either a week or a defined milestone such as one flow. We prefer the milestone version because it maps to a deliverable rather than a calendar.

Yes, and we start there when there’s a product to learn from. If you’re pre-product we start with flows and assumptions instead, and we’ll tell you which of the two you are.

Roughly one substantial surface, fully designed with every state. If the visual identity is set, an onboarding flow takes two to three days and a six section page three to four.

Either. Our handoff files carry every edge case and interaction, and our developers can build it instead if you’d rather not spend your own engineering time.

Feedback inside 24 to 48 hours, one decision-maker who can approve direction, and your copy on the schedule we agree in week two. Projects that slip almost always slip on one of those three.

In-house wins on context and continuity once the work is permanent and full time. We win on speed to start, on seniority you would struggle to hire at this stage, and on being pausable. When your volume justifies a hire, we say so.

Every file, and you own all of it. Design source, component library, documentation and, where we built it, the code in your repository from the first commit. Nothing sits behind our account and nothing needs our permission to use.

We work almost entirely with B2B SaaS and AI companies, across fintech, healthcare, logistics, legal, edtech and infrastructure. If we haven’t worked in your category, we’ll say so and tell you what that changes.
