Product Redesign

Product redesign for software nobody actually designed

Trusted by SF’s top AI & SaaS companies

What usually brings teams here

A redesign request always arrives attached to a number. Activation, retention, support volume, or a deal lost on the demo.

  1. The product demos better than it onboards.

Sales closes on a story the first session never delivers, and month two shows it.

  2. Every release made the last one harder to find.

Navigation grew feature by feature, and now search is the navigation.

  3. Buyers judge the UI before the roadmap.

A prototype grade interface reads as a prototype grade company.

  4. Support answers the same question all week.

Nobody gets through setup alone, so headcount tracks signups instead of revenue.

  5. You carry features nobody uses.

Each one still costs navigation space, engineering time and attention.

  6. You pivoted and the product kept its old shape.

The company moved, the interface didn’t, and nobody has attributed the damage yet.

What a product redesign actually includes

Product & UX audit

We start on the product you already have. Heuristic review of every core flow, your analytics, session recordings, support tickets and interviews with people who churned. You get a ranked list of what’s costing you, before anyone proposes a screen.

Typical outputs:

  1. Heuristic review, all flows
  2. Analytics and drop-off
  3. User and churn interviews
  4. What to fix first

Some of our work

How we work with your team

(01)

The audit is free, and first

Every engagement opens with an audit at no cost. We find the real problem before anyone opens Figma.

(02)

One embedded team

A senior designer joins your Slack and your sprint rhythm. There is no account manager relaying notes between us.

(03)

We ship in weeks, not quarters

Work moves in two week cycles, and something is reviewable at the end of every one. You are never waiting on a big reveal.

(04)

Feedback in 24 to 48 hours

The one commitment that decides whether this lands on time. We make it, and we ask you to make it too.

Why Bricx

A redesign is the most expensive way to find out you didn’t know what was wrong. That’s why every engagement opens with a free audit. A few times a year it ends with us saying you need three fixes, not a rebuild.

01

The audit comes first, free

Redesigning without a diagnosis rebuilds the same mistakes in nicer type. We find the real problem before Figma opens.

02

Taste is the product

AI does the UX thinking now. Layouts, flows, first drafts. What it can’t do is the last ten percent.

03

We know life after Figma

Components, states, edge cases and frontend reality, because we ship the build as well.

04

Systems, not screens

You keep a system your team can extend, so the next page doesn’t restart an argument you already settled.

Start with the audit. It’s free when it opens an engagement, and it’s the honest way to answer this. If the answer is three fixes we’ll say so, and we have before.

Product work goes on a monthly retainer. Redesigns generate iterations by nature, and fixed price caps your revisions in exactly the phase where revisions are the point.

Retainers start at $10,000 per month. Fixed scope work on a single flow starts lower. A second workstream is priced on scope.

We design the migration path as part of the work, not after it. That usually means shipping by surface rather than all at once, and it’s a design decision before it’s an engineering one.

Yes, and it’s often the right call. One flow, done properly, tells you whether the larger investment is worth making.

Either. Our handoff files carry every edge case and state, and our developers can build it if you’d rather not spend your own engineering time.

Feedback inside 24 to 48 hours, one decision-maker who can approve direction, and your copy on the schedule we agree in week two. Projects that slip almost always slip on one of those three.

Fixes when the structure holds and specific screens underperform. Redesign when navigation, information architecture or the core flows are the problem, because fixing screens on a broken structure just moves the confusion. The free audit tells you which you have.

Two to three weeks for a single flow. Eight to sixteen weeks for a full product, though we ship by surface rather than all at once so value lands earlier. Continuous work runs monthly instead.
