3D Motion Designer
We are looking for a 3D motion designer to make software look like something you can hold. Launch videos, product hero loops, brand moments and the odd interactive piece on the web. The product is usually one we designed, so you start from the real thing, not a brief about it.
The work
- Turn product UI and brand systems into 3D scenes that explain the product, not decorate it.
- Model, light, animate and render launch videos, hero loops and social cuts.
- Work from the storyboard with the brand and product designers, so the motion and the design are one idea.
- Hand off assets the web team can ship: renders, loops and exports light enough for a homepage.
- Deliver every cut the launch needs, from the sixteen by nine master to the fifteen second ad.
What we need from you
- Two or more years in 3D motion, with a reel where you can say what you did on every shot.
- Fluency in Blender or Cinema 4D, and enough After Effects to finish what you render.
- Timing and easing that feel considered. Movement should have a reason.
- Taste in materials and lighting that reads as product, not as a stock render.
- Comfort taking feedback on frames before animation starts, when changes are still cheap.
- Real-time 3D on the web, Three.js or Spline, is a bonus, not a requirement.
